Mexican Mint Marigold
Certified Organic
Tagetes lucida
Pretty flowers and leaves that taste like tarragon!
AKA Mexican Tarragon. An aromatic marigold species that is gaining popularity as a more heat-tolerant alternative to tarragon. Both the leaves and flowers are edible and have a sweet, tarragon-anise flavor. As a tender perennial, it is generally grown as an annual in colder climates; however, its compact habit makes it fairly easy to overwinter indoors as a houseplant too.
