This striking member of the Parrot class of tulips features the most lovely and enveloping colorway: a pink brush-stroke petal center igniting into orange and gold frilled edges. A showpiece in flower arrangements. Grows to 24" tall. Heavy blooms; plants benefit from wind protection or supports.

Growing instructions
Tulips do best in full sun in northern areas, but will tolerate light shade in hotter areas. They require a well-drained soil, with an ideal pH of 6.0 to 6.5. Water in well after planting, beyond that normal rainfall should be sufficient for water.
Tulip bulbs should be kept cool until ready to plant; and planted in fall at least a month before the ground freezes.
