Double Click Cosmos Seedlings

Comos bipinnatus

Certified Organic

What our (cut) flower dreams are made of!

Although the stems are tall, these uniquely ruffled flowers can be seen up close with the bare eye—no telescope required. A patch creates its own earthbound universe of glowing pink pulsar planets, nebulas of gathering bees, orbiting hummingbirds, and interstellar butterflies coming in for a landing. The big, rose-hued, mostly doubled blooms on tall stems will make you want to reach out and give them a little pat-pat: they are a flower worth double clicking!

A favorite among cut flower growers, Double Click is a stunningly beautiful cosmos variety that adds an elegant yet whimsical element to bouquets. This selection is a range of pink blooms, from light pink to cranberry. The form of the blooms is a mix of fully double and semi-double, with a smattering of singles, and some plants that produce flowers that closely resemble Seashells Cosmos. Very easy to grow. Growing instructions
Can be direct seeded or transplanted. Plant close for cut flower production, or farther apart for the ornamental garden. Quick days to maturity mean you can sow this variety in succession for abundant and elegant blooms all season. Direct sow after first, or start indoors 4-6 weeks prior. Snip the main stem when plants are 6-12" high to encourage branching. Once flowering, cut often and deep to encourage more blooms. Foliage can be used as a ferny filler. Blooms last 5-7 days in a vase.
