Anaheim Hot Pepper Seedlings
Capsicum annuum
Certified Organic
A favorite for stuffing, roasting, drying, and saucing.
If you are a fan of traditional southwestern style cooking, you have got to grow anaheim peppers. They vary in heat from mild to hot, and are great eaten as a green chile, or left on the plant to ripen to red. Red chiles can be dried and then toasted, soaked and pureed for a tradtional red chile sauce.
Growing instructions
Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, then transplant 3 weeks after last frost. Requires heat for germination, which can take 10-14 days. Transplant once weather has settled, usually 2 weeks after tomatoes have been transplanted (peppers will tolerate earlier transplanting but won't grow much).
Plant in full-sun, in well-drained soil, water moderately.
