This unusual 1830s heirloom has beautiful, cornflower-blue, 1-2" wide orbs of star-like florets. Also known as "The Blue of the Heavens". Great when planted in clusters. Grows to 24" high. Alliums are deer, rabbit, and rodent resistant.

Alliums do best in full sun to partial shade They require a well-drained soil. Water in well after planting, beyond that normal rainfall should be sufficient.
Allium bulbs should be planted 1-2 times as deep as the diameter of the bulb.
Bulbs should be kept cool until ready to plant; and planted in fall at least a month before the ground freezes.
