Pre-Mordanted Dyeable Bandana
Useful garden fabric—and fashion statement with a pro-gardening vibe.
If your garden includes plants for dyeing, but you are having trouble figuring out all the next steps to get those gorgeous colors into some cloth, these pre-mordanted hemp-cotton bandanas are for you. Each one is mordanted with oak gall tannin and aluminum sulfate, ready to absorb whatever beautiful colors you've grown in your garden. Don't have anything to work with? That's no problem! Included in each pack of three bandanas are marigold, logwood, and onion skins suitable for using as dyes—no garden or other plant materials required. Towels are about 16"x22" in size (though they vary slightly), and are vintage in character in a silvery taupe tone. Instructions included.
