Strawberry Fields Gomphrena
Certified Organic
Gomphrena haageana
Red flowers that hold up well in a dried flower bouquet.
Grow the cutest little strawberry lookalikes! From early summer until the first hard frost, these berry-shaped, clover-like blossoms bring cheer to borders and cutting gardens. The vibrant, papery blooms add interest to container groupings. For flower beds, try a dense planting for the best effect. Drying Gomphrena is easy: simply snip the stems near the base of the plant and hang upside down in a dark, well-ventilated room. Easy to grow, drought tolerant, and irresistibly sweet!
